Apartment 1

Apartment Description

Fully equipped 2 bedroom ground floor apartment, sleeps upto 6 people located at the Mege & Pine Tree Village resort.

1 double bedroom (air conditioned), 1 twin bedroom and 1 double sofa bed in the lounge (air conditioned) allowing up to 6 people to stay.

Also in the lounge is satellite TV, DVD and stereo. Jacuzzi bath with shower and separate shower cubicle.

A well equipped kitchen, including microwave and washing machine and safe. Balconies to front and back of the apartment. Hairdryer, Bedding and towels are all provided apart from beach/pool towels.

Telephone Entry system to main entrance, 24-hour security/maintenance on site, along with a car parking space for each apartment.

There are 33 apartments/villas on this complex sharing a 240 square meter swimming pool with 2 separate children’s sections. Just a short stroll from the apartment is a large supermarket (Migros) and the beach/resort centre is only 5 mins drive away (approx 20 mins walk).

The local “dolmus” (minibus) stops 100m away from the supermarket (Migros) and takes you all the way to the beach front for approx 40p per person. There are 3 beaches nearby.

Altinkum resort centre in the height of the season can be a lively resort. Altinkum has something for everyone, from quiet and relaxing bars and restaurants to disco’s for those who want livelier entertainment. The Turkish people are very friendly and welcoming.

About Altinkum

Famous for its wonderful beaches, Altinkum, meaning “Golden Sands” is set around a gently sloping sandy beach that descends into crystal clear waters. Altinkum lies close to the famous Temple of Apollo in ancient Didim.

By day the main shopping area can be found in Dolphin Square. Soke market offers some of the best bargains and traditional artefacts. By night, after sunset the resort centre comes alive with a good choice of restaurants, bars and discos situated along the waterfront.
 

Local Excursions

A good selection of excursions on offer and most will pick up from the complex, including a 5 bay boat trip which is great for snorkelling, a trip to the water park in Kusadaisi (1hr away), a jeep safari taking you through olive groves and hillsides to other turquoise bays for swimming, coach trips to Ephesus, the country’s most famous historic site (also in Kusadaisi) and to other classical sites; to the Dalyan Delta, with its Turtle Beach, ancient tombs and mud baths; boat trips to the island of Kos and along the coast. If you decide to hire a car you will find a waterpark only 10 minutes drive away.
 

Airport Info

Airport transfer time is approx 1 ½ hours from Bodrum Airport. Alternative airport is Izmir – 2 hours.

Airport transfer from approx £15 per adult and £10 per child one-way (Bodrum).

At the airport you have to get a visa stamp in your passport. This is done at passport control, it’s £10 sterling each and is valid for 3 months.
